Bits and Bobs and their wheeled machine (Trog) go out on little adventures to investigate the world.
Children are encouraged to answer questions asked in the programme. Brain testing is encouraged when children are asked to think about what an object might be - when only shown a small part of it!
The programme has a simple and repetitive format that helps children understand what is required of them and gives them time to engage and understand.
