All Cbeebies programmes aim to entertain and educate. By using bright colours, distinctive voices and animation children are engaged and are learing important lessons such as creativity, honesty, problem solving and so on without realising.

Some programmes encourage participation such as painting, cooking or games. Physical, fun excercise such as singing and dancing is also encouraged. It is important that children express themselves without embarassment at this early stage.
Parents can get involved by encouraging children to participate and respond to the programmes - adults can even take part themselves!
